Meet Lizz

The baker and owner of The Purple Whisk. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2008 from their Culinary Program. Moving back to her home state of Maine she worked in the baking and restaurant scene for 10 years before deciding to begin her own journey.

In 2017 she started selling at farmer’s markets during the summer and found her passion reignited. Soon after, she went full time with The Purple Whisk, creating a micro bakery in her home and offering wholesale products to local shops in the greater Portland area. The connections she made at farmer’s markets helped cultivate the goal of using local Maine produce and ingredients.
